Severe thunderstorm watch in effect for York County

A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for York County, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
The warning will be in effect until 8 p.m., according to the NWS.
Earlier today: At 2:05 p.m., a severe thunderstorm moved throughTyler Run-Queens Gate, moving northeast at 40 mph, the NWS said.
At 2:20 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado moved through East York, moving northeast at 30 mph, according to the NWS.
That tornado warning was in effect until 2:45 p.m.
The national weather service reported funnel clouds near Columbia heading northwest at about 2:40 p.m.
