The Mexican-themed restaurant will open its latest York County location March 9, according to Chipotle area manager Chris Bruni. All Chipotle locations are corporate-owned, and Bruni declined to release any more details.

Chipotle will share the property, located at 890 Loucks Road, on Route 30, with Pie Five Pizza, a fast casual personal pizza restaurant. That restaurant will open its first location in York in mid-April, according to Jeff Schroll, Vice President of Operations of Pie Five Pizza.

"We originated in Fort Worth in 2011, and we’re growing rapidly across the United States," Schroll said. Pie Five Pizza now has 101 restaurants around the country, according to Schroll, and York is a focus in its expansion. "York County has a lot of great restaurants,"he said, "we just want to add to it."

The restaurant allows people to create personalized pizzas and choose from seven types of dough, all made in house, and 40 toppings. "Each pie is a unique experience," Schroll said, and since each pizza is a personal size, "no one has to sacrifice."

The fledgling pizza restaurant also will open a location at the York Town Center on Concord Road in Springettsbury Township, according to Schroll. That restaurant is aiming to open in late June.

Both restaurants occupy a property that replaced a used car lot and the former home of Xtreme Archery, which moved to Springettsbury Township last year.
