Some clients of Visiting Angels Living Assistance Services of York were treated to a bit of pre-Valentine's Day love from their care managers on Monday.

Visiting Angels delivered "Blossoms of Love" flower arrangements to 10 clients in York to "brighten their day," according to public relations manager Sandy Taylor.

At her first stop on Trolley Road in West Manchester Township, Taylor met up with care manager Kate Szala so they could deliver flowers to Ann Morgart.

"Thank you for doing that for me, flowers always make me happy," Morgart said.

The next stop was with care manager Staci Rogers and client Denise Eckert on Maurice Court in Manchester Township. Flanked by her father, Robert, and aide Regina Markley, Eckert thanked Rogers and said she loves Visiting Angels.

This is the second year for the flower deliveries, according to Taylor. It  also is the 15th anniversary for Visiting Angels in York, Hanover and Lancaster. The agency provides nonmedical, private-duty home care to senior citizens; elder care; respite care; and companion care, helping adults continue to live in their homes.
