Staff at Royer's Flowers knee deep in roses

Valentine's Day means roses, lots of roses, for the employees of Royer's Flowers & Gifts.

The florist, based in Lebanon County, received a half-million roses and carnations for Valentine’s Day to be turned into thousands of arrangements and bouquets.

At the store at 2555 Eastern Blvd. in Springettsbury Township, the staff is creating more than 400 arrangements and bouquets of a dozen roses each in preparation for Tuesday's holiday of love. Customers ordering bouquets who choose delivery for Monday will receive a coupon for a dozen free roses in March.

Roses and other flowers will be available in store locations throughout the day on Valentine's Day.
