A Maryland robbery suspect was arrested in Spring Grove last week, according to a news release from Southwestern Regional Police.

Police say Desmond A. Craig, 25, of no fixed address, had a felony warrant for robbery with a gun out of Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

Police: Hanover man charged with fighting officer, DUI

Officers from Maryland had information indicating that he was at a home in the 100 block of High Point Lane.

About 2 p.m. Wednesday, officers went to that address. After police made contact with the residents of the home, Craig was seen attempting to flee out a second-floor window, according to police.

When Craig saw officers on the ground, he stopped trying to flee and was arrested without incident, according to police.

He was sent to central booking and will be extradited to Maryland.
