A man was shot in York City on New Year's Day, according to a York City Police patrol supervisor.

Police say a 35-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening wounds when he was shot in the arm early Sunday morning.

The shooting was called in about 7:45 a.m. The victim was taken to the hospital in a personal vehicle, according to police.

No arrests have been made.

Additional information was not immediately available Sunday afternoon.
