Police: One shot in York City
- York City Police say a man was shot in the abdomen Wednesday afternoon.
- The man was found in the 500 block of West Philadelphia Street and was taken to York Hospital.

Police are investigating a shooting in the city's west end Wednesday afternoon, according to a York City Police sergeant who was at the scene.
York City Police say a man was shot in the abdomen and was found about 2:30 p.m. outside a home in the 500 block of West Philadelphia Street. The man was taken to York Hospital by ambulance for treatment, police said.
At the scene, police were investigating near the area of West Philadelphia and Manchester streets. Officers also were seen looking at an empty lot near West Gas Avenue and Manchester Street. Police left the scene about 4 p.m.
Additional information was not immediately available Wednesday afternoon.
