An accident had westbound traffic on Route 30 backed up almost five miles into Springettsbury Township Tuesday afternoon.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Loucks Road and Pennsylvania Avenue around 2:05 p.m.

Minor injuries were reported, according to the Southern Pennsylvania Incident Network.

The crash was cleared and traffic began to flow around 3:15 p.m.
