A South Carolina woman accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old was returned to York County Prison after she allegedly spent time with the teen earlier in the week, according to charging documents.

Victoria Jean Johnson, 20, of Summerville, South Carolina, is charged with corruption of minors. In August, Southern Regional Police charged her with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, aggravated indecent assault on a person younger than 16 years old, indecent assault, indecent assault on a person younger than 16 years old and corruption of minors.

New charges: Southern Regional Police say Johnson was spotted with the girl about  2 a.m. Nov. 22 in Shrewsbury. The girl told police she was there with Johnson, and that her mother knew where she was.

When Johnson gave the responding officer her ID, the officer recognized her from her previous arrest and asked her if she was on probation, according to police. The officer asked if Johnson was allowed to be in contact with the girl because of the previous charges, according to documents.

Both the girl and Johnson told police that the girl's parents knew they were together and that the two were just shopping and looking for somewhere to eat, according to police. The two were placed in separate patrol cars, police said. While speaking with officers, the girl admitted her mother wasn't aware she was with Johnson, police said. The girl told police Johnson was in the area to deal with legal matters, and the two had planned on returning to Johnson's apartment to spend the night, documents state.

Documents do not state if the girl was referring to Johnson's South Carolina residence or a closer location.

The responding officer looked into Johnson's bail restrictions and saw that she was not allowed to have any contact with the alleged victim, police said. Johnson was asked if she knew she wasn't allowed to contact the girl, and after avoiding the question, she acknowledged that she was not allowed to contact her and that she was sorry, documents state.

Johnson was arraigned later that morning at central booking. District Judge Douglas F. Meisenhelter denied her bail for violating her previous bail conditions, according to police.

Previous charges:  According to charging documents, Johnson was only in town for a few days visiting a friend when she allegedly sexually assaulted her friend's daughter on Aug. 12, according to police.

When speaking with police, she said she and the girl had slept in the same bed the night before and that there had been no previous sexual interest, the documents said. But that morning, the two began a conversation — the documents did not elaborate on the details of the discussion — that got Johnson "in the mood," according to the documents.

She told police she sexually assaulted the girl, despite the girl saying "no" at least once and resisting unsuccessfully, police allege.

Johnson said she did not want to "be seen as a pedophile," the documents said. She said she was "very aware" of the difference in age between herself and the victim. She said she could not stop herself, and she just did it without thinking, the documents said.

Police asked the court to consider Johnson a flight risk given that her home is in South Carolina and she has no friends or family in the area other than the person she was visiting. They also asked that a no-contact order be imposed against Johnson, preventing her from seeing or communicating with the victim, which police now allege she broke.

She was arraigned on the charges Aug. 12 and remanded to York County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail. She posted the bail Aug. 15, court records show.

Jay Whittle, who is listed as Johnson's attorney, could not be reached Friday night. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. Dec. 6 at District Judge Nancy Lee Edie's office.
