HANOVER — Police are looking for the driver of a utility van that struck and killed a 4-year-old girl in south-central Pennsylvania.

Authorities in Hanover haven’t released the name of the girl who was killed shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say a white man with a beard was driving a white van that had some kind of writing or commercial lettering on its side, along with a ladder attached to a roof rack.

Police Chief Chad Martin says the girl had just arrived with an adult and was crossing the street to her home when she was hit.
