The best Black Friday deals in York County might not be at the big box stores, and you certainly don't need to camp out the night before to get in on those deals.

Vehicles, televisions, electronic components, video gaming systems, audio speakers and jewelry will be auctioned off Black Friday during the annual York County Drug Task Force auction, according to Kyle King, spokesman for the York County District Attorney's Office.

The 70 or so vehicles include four BMWs, a Saab 93L, a Lexus IS3 and a Mercedes C2S, as well as a number of trucks and SUVs.

There are about 80 smaller items to be auctioned as well.

The majority of the auction items were seized from alleged drug dealers by the York County Drug Task Force under zero-tolerance drug-forfeiture laws.

All money raised from the auction goes directly back to fund the day-to-day operations of the drug task force, King has said.

Where and when: The auction starts at 10 a.m. at Schaad Detective Agency, 1114 Roosevelt Ave. in York City, but vehicles are ready to be looked at any time, according to King.

Vehicles are sold as-is with no warranties or guarantees.

Successful bidders must be able to leave a $500 cash deposit for each vehicle won, King said, and the balance must be paid off in seven days. Personal checks will not be accepted.

Miscellaneous items will be cash-and-carry.

Title, tag and notary services will be available at the auction.
