A West Manheim Township man remains in York County Prison, accused of pointing at shotgun at his live-in girlfriend, physically assaulting her, tying her up and holding her against her will, according to police.

Alexander Daniel White, 25, of Pleasant Hill Apartments, 2868 Baltimore Pike, Apt. 4, is charged with making terroristic threats, false imprisonment, simple assault, criminal mischief and harassment. His bail was set at $15,000, court records state.

Court records also show his bail was being posted, and he was expected to be released Tuesday.

According to charging documents, White's girlfriend, Michelle Myers, returned home about 2 a.m. Sunday with a female friend. The two women realized White was extremely intoxicated, documents state.

The women went to the home of Myers' father, who lives in the same apartment complex, but White followed them and got into an argument with Myers, West Manheim Township Police said.

"During the argument, the defendant smacked her across the face with his hand and pushed her to the ground," documents allege.

He then went inside Myers' father's apartment and took the cellphones of Myers and her friend, police said. After taking the phones, White ran back into his own apartment and locked the door, according to police.

'I could kill you': Myers knocked on the door of their home to get the phones. After several minutes, White eventually let her inside, police said.

That's when White pointed a shotgun at Myers and said, "I could kill you, bury your body and no one would know where you are," charging documents allege.

White then put down the shotgun, wrestled Myers to the ground and elbowed her in the stomach, according to documents. When Myers stood up, he grabbed her hair, "jacked her up against the wall" and threw her on their bed, police allege.

White then tied Myers' ankles together with rope and repeatedly asked her where she hid his alcohol, documents state.

"(Each) time she answered him denying the allegation, he pulled the rope on her ankles tighter," charging documents state.

White eventually allowed Myers to get up, and she ran outside with a bag of her belongings, police said. However, White chased her and ripped the bag out of her hands, according to documents.

Tires slashed: Myers made it inside her father's apartment and locked the door, after which White walked over to a 2003 Saturn Ion owned by Myers' friend and slashed all four tires, police allege.

Myers suffered visible bruising during the attack, police said.

Police conducted surveillance of White's apartment during the day Sunday and convinced him to come outside and be arrested at 4:40 p.m. Sunday, police said. White agreed to come out after a negotiation over the phone, according to police.

Officers then searched the apartment, noticed "considerable damage" to it and found two shotguns, numerous shotgun shells, rope and drug paraphernalia, documents state.
