The Pennsylvania Game Commission is looking for information after a hunter was struck in the back by shotgun pellets last month in Adams County.

On Oct. 22, a hunter walking along Twin Bridges Road, State Game Lands 249, was struck in the back by shotgun pellets, the commission said in a news release. A backpack he was wearing absorbed the pellets, so the man was not injured.

The commission said two other hunters were in the immediate area and fled after the shot was fired. A tan Ford F-250 was seen leaving the area shortly after the incident.

Conservation officers are looking for any information regarding the incident. Anyone with information should contact the commission's south central region office at 814-643-1831. All calls can be confidential.
