Hanover man killed in Cumberland County crash

A Hanover man was killed in a Cumberland County car crash Friday evening, according to a news release from the Cumberland County Coroner's Office.

Shortly before 11 p.m. Friday night, Juan Ricardo, 32, of Hanover, was driving south on Harrisburg Pike and tried to turn left on Embers Drive when his vehicle was hit by a northbound tractor-trailer, the release states. Francesco Javier Garcia, 42, also of Hanover, was a passenger in the rear seat of Ricardo's car and was pronounced dead at the scene, the coroner's office said.

Middlesex Township Police are investigating. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
