York City man accused of sexually assaulting teen
A York City man is accused of sexually assaulting a teen, according to charging documents filed last week.
Michael Shaun Adkins II, 26, of 600 Salem Ave, is charged with statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault and corruption of minors, among other charges, according to charging documents.
The charges stem from an incident in the summer of 2011, where police say Adkins sexually assaulted a teenage girl in his North York home.
Alleged assault: At the end of 2015, a 17-year-old girl reported to York City Police that Adkins had sexually assaulted her four years before, documents state.
She told police that in the summer of 2011, when she was 13, she was driven to Adkins' residence in the 900 block of North Duke Street, in North York. She told police that Adkins was kissing her on the lips, police said. She told police she was given a drink called "jungle juice" and a synthetic drug named "spice," causing her to feel like she was dying and "going through the dimensions of the world," police said.
She told police that later that night she was in Adkins' bed and he sexually assaulted her, police allege. He performed different sexual acts on her, police said.
Adkins was 20 at the time of the alleged assault, according to charging documents.
The girl was able to identify Adkins' name and also was able to identify him by his chest tattoo, documents state.
Adkins was arraigned Wednesday morning and posted $15,000 bail on Thursday, according to online court records.
