York City residents without health insurance can stop by the city’s Bureau of Health to receive a free flu shot.

The vaccine is free for those without insurance as well as those whose health insurance does not cover flu shots, according to a release.
Everyone 6 months of age and older is encouraged to receive the influenza vaccine. Seniors, young children and people with chronic medical conditions have a greater risk for complications from the flu.
For more information about the vaccine, York City residents may visit the bureau at 435 W. Philadelphia St. or call 717-849-2299.
