Police seek ‘armed, dangerous’ rape, abduction suspect

WHITAKER, Pa. — Allegheny County police say they’re looking for a man who abducted a woman he knew at gunpoint then raped her and forced her to drive him around the Pittsburgh suburbs.

Police say 26-year-old George Cicero Holiday is armed and should be considered dangerous. They’ve charged him with rape, kidnapping and several related charges stemming from an incident that began about 10 p.m. Sunday.

Police say the Duquesne man abducted the woman at gunpoint from a gas station in Whitaker, a tiny borough a few miles east of the city. The woman says Holiday raped her then forced her to drive around until he had her drop him off in Braddock about 12:30 a.m. Monday.

Police say they’ve found video that corroborates the woman’s story, but are not immediately releasing it.
