No foul play is suspected in the death of a York City man found  inside a city home early Friday morning, according to the York County Coroner's Office.

Mickle Echevarria-Betancourt, 36, of 10 E. Maple St., died of a single gunshot wound to the head, Coroner Pam Gay has said.

Police were called to 224 Chestnut St. about 2 a.m. and found the man shot. It had been reported as a possible self-inflicted accidental shooting, according to the coroner's office.

On Monday afternoon, Gay put out an updated news release, noting that an autopsy was performed Saturday and that foul play isn't suspected.

The news release also stated other people were inside the Chestnut Street address at the time Echevarria-Betancourt suffered the gunshot wound.

Lt. Troy Bankert, who supervises the York City detective bureau, said the investigation continues.

He said he can't yet discuss details of the case.
