First-year coach Scott Horton says, “Half the girls couldn’t fight back the tears” calling it an “absolute, total celebration.”

The team’s last win was on Oct. 9, 2012. That was also a 2-1 victory, over Salisbury High School. Palisades beat Wilson Area 17-0 two seasons ago.
