Route 30 is reopened after it was shut down in both directions early Friday morning, according to York County 911 dispatches.

A police chase in the eastbound lanes ended with an accident half a mile east of the Hellam exit just after midnight.

And then just before 12:30 a.m., another accident was called in the westbound lanes, also near the Hellam exit.

The roadway was closed at the Wrightsville exit going westbound, and at 12:45 a.m. a helicopter landing zone was being prepped at the Hellam exit to take a patient to the hospital.

Route 30 eastbound was closed at Route 24, Mount Zion Road, according to 511PA traffic cameras. Traffic was being routed to Lincoln Highway, Route 462.

The westbound crash was being called as involving two vehicles and heavy entrapment, according to 911 dispatches. First responders were being told to drive on the opposite side of the highway to get to the crash site.
