Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who robbed a Hanover store early Monday morning.

The robber walked into the store, located in the 300 block of Eisenhower Drive, about 3:25 a.m. and brandished a knife while demanding money, Hanover Police said.

He fled the store after the clerk, a 25-year-old man, handed the robber an undisclosed amount of money, according to police. The clerk was working alone and escaped injury, police said.

The robber is white, in his late 20s, about 6-feet-5, with a muscular build and was wearing a black hooded jacket over a light-colored shirt, dark sunglasses, a black mask covering his face, black gloves, dark pants and light-colored shoes or sneakers with dark laces, police said.

Anyone who recognizes the robber, as well as anyone with information about the robbery, is asked to call Hanover Police at (717) 637-5575 or call 911.
