Giant announced Thursday the removal of some Diamond Nuts products because of potential salmonella contamination.

The following are included in the recall:

• Diamond Macadamia Halves and Pieces, 2.25 oz, UPC 7045074391, with lot numbers 16137D331S and 16159D331, and best before dates of Nov. 16, 2017, and Dec. 7, 2017.

• Diamond Chopped Macadamia Nuts, 2.25 oz, UPC 7045074391, with lot numbers 16137D331S and 16159D331S and best before dates of Nov. 16 2017 and Dec. 7, 2017.

Those who purchased those products should discard unused portions and bring the receipt to Giant for a full refund.
