LINDEN, Pa. — A central Pennsylvania coroner says alcohol may have been a factor in the death of a man whose body was pulled from the Susquehanna River.

The Lycoming County coroner’s office said 41-year-old Sean Lowmiller dived into the river from a boat in the Linden area west of Williamsport at about 9 a.m. Saturday and didn’t resurface.

Officials said his body was pulled from the river near the Antler’s Club Boat Launch shortly after 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

Coroner Charles Kiessling said the investigation continues.
