In the release, Gillespie says the seminar, which is open to anyone who lives in his district, is meant to better educate people about their rights as gun owners. The release says the event will touch on licenses, Castle Doctrine and interactions with law enforcement.

Attorney Matt Menges will speak about the state's concealed-carry laws, it says.

Anyone interested in attending should call Gillespie's office at (717) 840-4711 or register online at RepGillespie.com.

Gillespie represents the 47th House district, which spans Conewago, East Manchester, Hellam, Manchester and Springettsbury townships as well as the boroughs of Hallam, Manchester, Mount Wolf, North York, Wrightsville and York Haven.
