Police: Woman struck by car in York City

A woman was hit by a car in York City Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

At about 4 p.m., York City Police were dispatched to 725 Roosevelt Ave., where they discovered Cheyann Miller, 28, of York, had been hit by a car, according to a release from the department. According to a Facebook post from the York City Fire Department, Miller was trapped under the front of the vehicle. Crews used rescue tools to lift the vehicle off of her. Miller and the driver, Tyler Connelly, 25, of Manchester, were both taken to York Hospital.

Miller was last listed in serious condition, and Connelly was last reported in stable condition, according to police.

No criminal charges have been filed, but the investigation is ongoing, police said.
