DUI checkpoints this weekend in York, Lancaster counties
Police in York and Lancaster counties will conduct sobriety checkpoints this weekend to target intoxicated drivers, according to the Center for Traffic Safety.
The checkpoints will happen sometime between 6 p.m. Friday and 6 p.m. Sunday, according to a news release from the traffic-safety center.
The locations of the checkpoints have not, obviously, been divulged.
Sobriety checkpoints, roving DUI patrols and other related enforcement activities are funded with federal grant money distributed by the state Department of Transportation, the release states.
Checkpoints are announced in advance, but roving DUI patrols might not be.
