Shots fired at Lancaster police, no officers injured
LANCASTER, Pa. — Police are investigating after shots were fired at officers in Lancaster.
Investigators say the gunfire broke out around 10:20 p.m. Wednesday and no officers were injured. One man who police say was involved in the incident was shot in the leg and hospitalized. It’s unclear what his condition is.
Police say officers were in the area on another call when they heard gunshots and went to investigate. They saw a group of men running and authorities say one of the men fired several rounds in the officers’ direction.
