Thieves broke into at least 15 parked vehicles early Sunday morning in the Shiloh area of West Manchester Township, police said.

Stolen were cash, GPS units, other electronics and sunglasses, according to police.

It's believed the thefts happened after 2 a.m. Sunday, possibly around 4 a.m., West Manchester Township Police said.

Some of the targeted vehicles were left unlocked, but others were locked and had windows broken so thieves could get inside, police said.

The thefts happened in Shiloh's Quail Heights neighborhood, on Sunset Lane and on Sparrow, Brookmar and Golden Eagle drives, police said.

Police said thieves have previously stolen guns from vehicles parked in the township. Because of that, anyone who sees such thieves is warned not to try to apprehend them. Instead, call 911, police said.

Police also warned people not to leave valuables in their vehicles.
