The 17-year-old suffered a through-and-through gunshot wound to his left foot, according to Lt. Troy Bankert, who supervises the York City Police detective bureau. The wound isn't life-threatening, he said.

The teen drove himself to the hospital, according to officials.

The shooting happened in the 600 block of Lincoln Street, but the circumstances that led to the shooting are still unknown, Bankert said Thursday afternoon.

No arrests have been made, he said.
