The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for central York and central Lancaster counties until 8:45 p.m. Wednesday.

According to the National Weather Service, at 5:50 p.m., Doppler radar showed one to two inches of rain have fallen, with amounts of half an inch to and inch more of rain possible. The rain will cause urban and small stream flooding and overflowing poor drainage areas will have minor flooding, according to the National Weather Service.

According to a LancasterOnline report, Route 30 east was closed because of a large sinkhole that opened near the East Towne Mall, after flooding earlier Wednesday. It has since re-opened, but repairs are still being done on the Sinkhole, LNP reported.

The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for Central Pennsylvania Monday.
