Police: Body found in Dillsburg

A body was found in Dillsburg Tuesday afternoon, according to Carroll Township Police.

According to police, the body was found inside a shed in the 200 block of South Second Street about 12:45 p.m.

Police were initially called to the scene for a report of someone sleeping inside a shed when they found the body, which reportedly had been there for an extended period of time, police said.

Carroll Township Police and the York County Coroner's Office are investigating the death. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause and manner of death. The name of the deceased is pending notification of next of kin.
