Bridge repairs to affect travel near Harrisburg this weekend

Bridge pavement and expansion joint repair work will affect traffic near Harrisburg this weekend, according to a release from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

This weekend, northbound Interstate 83 through the Eisenhower Interchange will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday until no later than 5 a.m. Monday. Drivers will use eastbound Route 322 to the Penhar interchange, then westbound Route 322 back to northbound I-83.

Repairs are scheduled to resume the following weekend, when the southbound I-83 ramp to southbound I-283 is scheduled to be closed.
