STEELTON, Pa. — A central Pennsylvania man has been charged with child endangerment after police say three children for whom he was responsible for were found wandering about, including an 8-month-old being carried around by its head by the other two children.

Online court records don’t list an attorney for 26-year-old Marcale Duffey, of Harrisburg.

He faces a preliminary hearing July 21.

Steelton polices say Dauphin County sheriff’s deputies spotted the children on April 22. Two of the children, who were 8 and 2 years old, were seen carrying the infant by its head.

Police investigated and filed the charges after determining Duffey was responsible for the children at the time. He had allegedly left them at a home about five blocks away from where they were found.
