Giant Food Stores announced Wednesday that certain varieties of Combos products have been removed because they may contain peanut residue, which is not included in the ingredient list, according to a release from the company.

The following products, with a best-before date ranging between March 2017 and April 2017, are included in the recall:

  • Combos Cheddar Cheese Pretzel — Family Peg Pack
  • Combos Pizzeria Pretzel — Medium Bag
  • Combos Cheddar Cheese Cracker — Family Peg Pack
  • Combos Buffalo Blue Cheese Pretzel — Family Peg Pack

According to the Food and Drug Administration, the amount of peanut exposure from use of the recalled food is low and not expected to cause adverse health effects in the majority of peanut allergic consumers, the release states.

Giant hasn't received any reports of illnesses related to the items to date but advises customers who purchased these products to discard any unused portions and bring their purchase receipt back to the store for a full refund.
