Driver, victims identified in Friday crash

York City Police have identified the driver and the five victims hospitalized after being struck Friday around 11:15 a.m. when a vehicle drove onto the sidewalk.

Police say Robert Davis, 78, drove his 2015 white Chevrolet Traverse onto the sidewalk in the area of Family First Health Clinic and hit five people.

Those hit were Deanna Eberly, of York Haven; Edilma Famina, 68, of Mountville, Lancaster County; Winifred McKee, 53, of Philadelphia; Catherine Sloan, of Philadelphia; and Eric Mcallister, 35.

On Tuesday afternoon, the WellSpan Public Relations and Marketing Department confirmed Famina and Sloan were listed in satisfactory condition, Eberly was listed in serious condition; McKee was discharged Friday. There was no one under the name Eric Mcallister in the patient listing.

Davis also was taken to the hospital, according to police.

All are expected to survive.

Davis was driving south in the first block of South George Street when his vehicle left the roadway and drove onto the sidewalk on the west side, continuing south on the sidewalk and crossing King Street before traveling another half a block and stopping in the area of Family First Health Clinic, police said.
