Northern York County Regional Police made 11 arrests at a sobriety checkpoint over the holiday weekend.

The checkpoint ran from 11 p.m. Friday until 3 a.m. Saturday, in the 900 block of North George Street in North York, police said.

Seven people were arrested for DUI, three were arrested for drug possession and one was arrested for drug paraphernalia, according to police.

Police reported 216 cars traveled through the checkpoint.
