It's advertised in all-capital letters as "free music for free human beings" and described as a "celebration of love, peace and community."

The third annual Kiwanis Lake Human Be-In will be held from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Sunday at Kiwanis Lake, along Parkway Boulevard in York City, according to the event's Facebook page.

In a stylized typeface any '60s psychedelic rock band would be proud of, the flier for the event lists six musical acts: The Wild Hymns, Tammi Hessen's Bumbada Women Drummers, John Terlazzo & Voices in the Hall, The New Rotics, Boompop Coalition and Blue Elephant.

The day will start with yoga at 11 a.m. led by local yogi Nicole Montanarelli. Then there will be music from noon until 6 p.m., according to the Facebook page.

The event page says these free "Be-Ins" were popular in the '70s and were recently restarted by local musicians.

The all-ages event, which is sponsored by the Avenues Neighborhood Association, also will feature food.

In a news release, York City asked people driving by the park to be careful because of the "large number of participants who will be attending this event."
