Police: York City woman admits stabbing man with scissors

York City Police say a local woman is in York County Prison after confessing to stabbing her boyfriend in the head with a pair of scissors Sunday night.

Andrea Klinedinst, 45, of 1103 S. Queen St., is charged with aggravated assault. She is being held under a $20,000 secured bond.

A former central Pennsylvania high school teacher is heading to prison after he was convicted of changing the grades of female students in exchange for nude pictures.

According to the charging documents, York City Police officers were called to Klinedinst's residence at 10:30 p.m. for a report of a stabbing during a domestic dispute. Once on the scene, officers discovered a male with a stab wound to his temple and a puncture wound to his left am.

The victim, not named in the documents, told police he had been stabbed by his girlfriend, Klinedinst. Klinedinst confessed to the officers, who found the scissors at the scene, documents said.

The wounded man was transported to York Hospital for treatment.

Klinedinst was arrested without incident.
