A Glen Rock man accused of using hidden cameras to record photographs and video of people in his home and other homes faces additional charges.

Ian Christopher Anderson, 28, faces one count of criminal use of a communications facility, 13 counts of invasion of privacy and nine related charges, documents state. The charges were filed Wednesday, and he is scheduled to be arraigned on them Tuesday.

Southern Regional Police Detective William Shaffer said the new allegations are related to the more than 200 counts of invasion of privacy and more than 70 counts of possession of child pornography filed against Anderson earlier this month.

He said the charges stem from secretly recorded images and videos Anderson was accused of taking from inside nearby homes.

Previous charges: Police say Anderson had thousands of pictures and videos on his laptops, and he told police he had been using hidden cameras since 2011 or 2012, documents state.

Police began investigating Anderson in July 2014, when Anderson's parole officer stopped in unannounced and a rifle and drug paraphernalia were found in his home, according to documents. Anderson told officers he was on parole because of a vehicle accident involving drug paraphernalia, charging documents state.

His computer was looked through during the visit, and child pornography and a video of a woman bathing nude were found, police said.

When asked about the photos and videos, Anderson told police he had been secretly recording people in his bathroom, documents state.

Police looked through two computers, seven hard drives, 11 flash drives and four cellphones, finding thousands of images depicting people nude or partially nude in Anderson's bathroom, police said. Images also were taken in bathrooms at two homes nearby, documents state.

Some of the people in the pictures were under 10 years old, according to police.

During the investigation, officers found a spy camera disguised as an AC/DC outlet adapter near the sink in his bathroom.

Anderson remains in York County Prison on $500,000 bail.
