York Area Regional Police are investigating a hit-and-run involving a flagman that occurred in Windsor Township Tuesday afternoon.

The flagman was struck by a car about 1 p.m. on the 2900 block of Cape Horn Road, according to police. Witnesses say a small maroon four-door car going northbound veered off the coned traffic way and struck the flagman, knocking him to the ground, according to police.

He remembered being hit by the passenger-side mirror, causing it to hang off the car as it left the area, police said. The man was taken to Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

Anyone with information on the incident should call 911.
