Now, Thomas is coming to the Waldner Performing Arts Center at York College, 441 Country Club Road, on Monday, May 23.

Starting at 9:30 a.m., Thomas will discuss how baby boomers can embrace their changing bodies and age with grace.

“We are thrilled to host Dr. Thomas, as we believe his presentation is the perfect complement to the goals of Embracing Aging and its work to make York County a great place to age,” Cathy Bollinger, managing director for Embracing Aging, said in a news release. “His work directly connects with ours as we strive to improve attitudes toward aging.”

Thomas' talk will include ways people can adjust their attitudes and behaviors to provide "nourishing fuel" for the rest of their lives.

A book signing will immediately follow Thomas' presentation in the second-floor reception area.

The talk is free and open to the public. However, RSVPs are requested. For more information on the event or to RSVP, go to ycca.org.
