For more than 30 years, Brenda Shubert and her family have been coming to the annual Olde York Street Fair. It's a Mother's Day tradition they've celebrated just like countless others in York.

Three generations of Shubert's family were there enjoying the street vendor food and bluesy tunes coming from down the street. Sherry Keller, Shubert's niece, brought her daughters along for the day.

"It's fun," Shubert said. "We like to come to eat and see some of the entertainment."

"The girls like to see the batons and stuff," Keller said. "They also enjoy the sand art. We've already done that today."

Thousands of York County residents flooded the downtown York City streets on Sunday to enjoy music, food and vendors. Children ran around with their parents and friends in the Kids' Fun Block.

Some residents, like Sheila Pujols, enjoyed a nice sunny day, taking a walk with her two sons.

"I've come every year since I was a little girl," Pujols said. "We love the street vendors. We bought something from a metal worker already."
