A West Manchester Township woman is facing prostitution charges for allegedly running an escort service out of her Bank Lane home.

Township police say Heather Strausbaugh, 25, of the 2000 block of Bank Lane, advertised her "escort companion" services online for an extended period of time.

An undercover officer recently responded to one of the advertisements and was directed to Strausbaugh's home, according to police. Once there, Strausbaugh allegedly offered to perform sexual acts on the officer for the pricing listed in the ad.

Detective Sean Conway said investigators were still looking into the length of time the illicit business was operating.

"It didn't just happen yesterday. ... It was going on for a while," he said.

Strausbaugh was arrested and will be charged with prostitution, Conway said.

Police said in addition to evidence of prostitution, officers seized Strausbaugh's customer information, which is now being processed.
