The annual Spring Clean Up, put together by the Keep York Beautiful organization, will be held from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 16, the city says.

The city has delayed the event because of the weather forecast, which includes a 50 percent chance of minor snowfall, according to the National Weather Service.

Anyone interested can pick up equipment such as bags and gloves from the parking lot at York City Hall at 101 S. George St. starting at 7:30 a.m. that day. The equipment has to be back by 11 a.m., which is when the public waste workers will come by to pick up all the trash people have collected.

People can clean up wherever they want around the city, but York has a list of places that need the most attention.
