Police: Woman pepper-sprayed, robbed in Red Lion
State police are investigating a robbery in Red Lion Sunday night during which a woman was pepper-sprayed.
The woman, whose name was not released, was in an alley in the borough about 10:15 p.m. when she was approached by a man who sprayed her with pepper spray, according to state police.
After spraying the woman, the robber grabbed her purse and fled the area, police said.
The unnamed alley runs between, and parallel to, North Main and North Charles streets, and the robbery happened in the 100 block, according to police.
The woman did not need to be transported to a local hospital for treatment, police confirmed.
