The York County Coroner Twitter account confirmed a body was found Saturday in a wooded area in Manchester.

Palmer

The body was found in the wooded area in the back of a property on the 300 block of Park Street in Manchester, according to the coroner's office.

“The body is believed to be that of a 61-year-old male, Kenneth Palmer, of the first block of Hill Street, Manchester,” a tweet from the Coroner Office reads. “Family has been notified.”

Northeastern Regional Police are investigating, the coroner said.

An autopsy is planned for Monday to confirm the identity as well as the cause and manner of death, according to tweets sent out early Sunday afternoon.

Palmer has been missing since Dec. 14.

York County Coroner Pam Gay said Palmer's personal belongings were found on the body, and the clothes matched the description of what he was wearing when he was last seen.

Additional details will be released after the autopsy is complete.
