Two teens arrested in Dover Township burglary
Northern York County Regional Police arrested two 17-year-olds over the weekend in connection with a burglary at a Dover Township business, according to a release.
Police say sometime between 11 p.m. Friday and 5:30 a.m. Saturday, suspects broke into a business on the 6400 block of Carlisle Road and took cigarettes, smoking devices and other items. They got into the business by breaking a window with a brick, and police say at least one of the burglars was cut by broken glass.
Officers alerted local hospitals about the injuries, and they found a 17-year-old being treated at Memorial Hospital for lacerations from broken glass. Officers found evidence at the hospital and his home implicating him and another 17-year-old in the burglary.
Police say the two were released to their parents, and they will be filing charges of burglary, theft, criminal trespass, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.
Police are still investigating the incident, and anyone with information should call police at (717) 292-3647.
