York City Police conduct warrant sweep
York City police conducted a warrant sweep Thursday, netting 38 arrests, according to a news release.
The sweep was conducted out of District Judge Linda Williams' Office, according to the release, and officers arrested 38 people, serving one felony warrant, one warning card, four parking tickets, six traffic citations, and 113 summary warrants.
The total collected from the fines were $15,476.08, according to the release. Six of those arrested were taken to York County Prison for non-payment of fines adding up to $7,323.25.
