Police: Boy struck by car in Spring Garden Twp.
A boy escaped life-threatening injuries Wednesday morning when he was hit by a car in Spring Garden Township, police said.
It happened about 8:15 a.m.in the 500 block of South Ogontz Street, township police said.
The boy, who is about 10 years old, apparently ran or walked into the street between two parked cars and was struck, police said.
He was taken to a local hospital for treatment, according to police.
It's not yet known how fast the car was traveling when it hit the boy, police said, adding officers are still interviewing witnesses.
The incident remains under investigation.
