Police say a Spring Grove woman pulled a gun on her boyfriend and while officers tried to arrest her, she threatened to kill them.

Alissa Ann Whitmore, 47, of 1800 block of Liberty Road, is charged with two counts of terroristic threats, and one count each of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and simple assault, according to charging documents.

On Saturday, around 4 a.m., Southwestern Regional Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Liberty Road for report of a domestic dispute, where Whitmore had pointed a gun at her boyfriend, documents state.

Her boyfriend told police that Whitmore was talking about getting her father back, who had passed away recently, documents state. Police say Whitmore was intoxicated and told her boyfriend to get her father back, or he would pay with his life. Her boyfriend told officers Whitmore left the room and returned with a handgun, which she pointed at him, according to documents.

Police say the boyfriend jumped from the bed, took the gun and called 911. He told police there were more guns in the home in the basement, but the basement was locked and, according to documents, Whitmore did not have a key.

When officers found Whitmore, she was at the basement door with a hammer and screwdriver, attempting to open the door, police said. Officer's detained her due to the threat of a weapon, and told her she was detained, not under arrest during that time, and asked her what had happened that morning, documents state. Police say Whitmore did not want to talk in specifics, just of past events where police have had to come to the home.

When officers asked again about the night, Whitmore told them she did point a gun at her boyfriend, but it was not loaded, according to police. The officers attempted to get Whitmore to the cruiser, but she refused to stand up, police said. Police say she was dragged to the front door before throwing all her weight into the ground, according to documents. Police say Whitmore was dragged to her feet when she said she was going to kill the two officers. As they moved her out of the doorway, she lifted her knee and struck one of the officers in the groin area, documents state.

After she was placed in the back of the cruiser, she stated she "should have shot him," police said.

Whitmore remains in York County Prison on $50,000 bail.
